That's a norm in civilized societies. In the US, there are phone booths along the freeways to call in case of something like this and police will even give one free fuel when needed. If Nigeria ever gets Lagos, Aba, Kano and Onitsha right, then we'll get there someday.

Kudos to the RRS team.

The report isn't complete. The guy looks like a mechanic. For all I care, it could be their boss's car or one of theirs

This is the height of misinterpretation of allocated and constitutional powers.

The job of the Nigerian Police is to protect lives and properties not repair lives and properties.

This policeman deserves a query.
What if that official vehicle gets damaged in the course of this selective assistance?
What if an emergency comes up and he can't attend to it swiftly a simply because he chose to be a mechanic?

So because they helped someone to jumpstart his/her car, they had to post it online. Doesn’t change my view on the NPF at large.
It is not even the beneficiary that posted it; this was clearly a self serving act!
Judiciously carry out your constitutional function and stop seeking CHEAP praises. Let your good works speak for you.

Really? Just to jump-start a car? Lol. A jumper cable is only $20, a jumper circuit-box is only $70. So?

Will you please stop this Bs? They'll kill an average of two innocent people in a week and help one person in a month. Is that a good stat for the police force and moreover this show off of their good side is only practiced in Lagos and some other metropolitan cities shikena!
