I saw this coming. He was a member of the Sheriff faction. I recide in his constituency. His victory in the last election was very narrow. The margin was by the skin of the teeth and before he could get this he used Grader to grade almost all the earth road in the constituency. Finally, he has bitten the finger that fed him. All this while though, he has been very critical of the pdp even though he was a member. No wonder he refused to join the walk out of his colleague last week when the speaker refused to declare the seat of another defector vacant.

A member of the House of Representative who formerly belonged to Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Rep. Johnson Agbonayinma, has explained why he dumped the group and joined Ali Modu Sheriff’s faction.

He said that the level of impunity and disregard for rule of law exhibited by members of the Makarfi’s faction forced him to jump ship.
