Merry Christmas to you all and a happy new year in advance. The fact that you are reading simply means you've survived from January to this day, and believe me its something to celebrate and be thankful for.
Christmas is not just a season to eat and drink, is a season to be grateful and thankful for the love of God and sacrifice Jesus made on the cross of Calvary.
Christmas is a celebration of love, love is sacrifice, sacrifice is giving, giving means sharing and sharing means charity.
In this Christmas, try to be not just a receiver but a giver, show love to random people. Just remember, there is nothing too small or too big to give, be charitable!!!
Here are the top five places you should visit this Christmas
1. Orphanage home: Visiting an orphanage will make you realize that the world needs help and that you are very privileged to be where you are today. It makes you view life from a different angle. Please, you remember an orphanage is not a tourist attraction site and you should not call it an orphanage when you are there, because it's a home of those kids and they don't need a constant reminder of their predicament. Show love to these kids and you would feel joy like never before.
2. Hospital: Yea.... There are so many people in pain all over the world today, people involved in ghastly accidents or people that have been diagnosed of a terrible disease. Sometimes, these people just need someone to talk to and some of them can't even afford their hospital bills. You can lend a helping hand to them. Remember, this is season of giving.
3. Prison: There are so many people that have been imprisoned for crimes that they did not commit. There are also many prison inmates that wants to change and repent from their evil deeds, your words of encouragement can just push them to the right direction. You should visit them and preach the good news, you can also support them with money so that they can have a decent meal today.
4. Church: Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ, where else can you celebrate Jesus Christ if not in the church of God. You should go to the church and fellowship with the brethren. You can also stay in your house and have an alone time with God, dedicate this Christmas to God.
5. Visit your loved ones: We also need to feel loved. Spend time with your loved ones and try to improve your relationship with them. Believe me, its worth it....
Have a merry Christmas once more!!!!
