Authentic and verifiable source has revealed that plans are in top gear for the MASS DEFECTION of top APC members and their supporters in Rivers state to the ruling PDP in the first quarter of 2018. This is as a result of irreconcilable positions taken by the aggrieved factions as regards who flies the party's flag in 2019. They argued that AMAECHI who is the leader of the other faction cannot control both the party structures and decide who becomes the governorship candidate. They are also suspecting that their interest will no longer be guaranteed. Besides, the current Minister of Transportation is relying so much on Federal Might even when the party in the state is in dare need for grassroot mobilisation. However,it has been confirmed that the defection is to pay AMAECHI in his own coin,and to prove to Buhari and APC national leadership that the former is not what he is claiming to be before them. |
