Hours after public attacked presidency over appeared names of deceased Nigerian listed among those unveiled as board pf chairman of government agencies and parastatals, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide has apologized over the errors made in listing late Senator Francis Okpozu and two others among those appointed as members of the government agencies and parastatals.

However, the president’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, admitted the errors and that such mistakes were not enough to describe the appointment scandalous.

Through a statement released on Saturday, the aide explained that the names of dead appointees in the list came about because the list had been compiled by the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir David Lawal.
