1. The Igbo is the type of person whose desire is to dominate everybody - Sardauna.

2. If they go to a village to a town, they want to monopolize everything in that area - Sardauna.

3. If you put him (Igbo) in a labour camp, within a year he will try to emerge as the headman of that camp - Sadauna.

With such divisive comments lacking in objectivity and casting aspersions on a whole ethnic group, Sardauna showed that he lacked the skills and wisdom of a true statesman. In fact, he sowed the seed of division in a young country.

Is it a crime to aspire to leadership positions or to be successful. Sardauna's comments showed that the only crimes of the Igbo are success and ambition. This is why other ethnic groups hate/envy them.

Crap!

You are running away from the truth. You have video evidence sardauna made the comments. In your mind the post is crap because it doesn't vilify the Igbo. To some, anything that vilifies the Igbo is good. You don't like them but you are fighting to keep them in Nigeria. Nonsense.

@OP, the right word I think is: ENVY.

Envy - A feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities or luck.

That video you posted, IMO, set-out the motion for the pogrom that happened in Northern Nigeria in the 60s and till this moment the blood stains on their land still hunts them and there is no end in sight.

The same hateful envy led to the holocaust just two decades before, perpetrated by German Nazi led by Hitler. If that man Bello had lived longer, who knows what other atrocities he would have initiated.

From his last statement, it is obvious that he is protecting the interest of the northern region.
That is expected of a regional leader.
Now let us consider his comments on northeners being employed in the western or eastern region.
How many northerners can we find today in government parastatals in the s.west, s.east, and s.south today?
He just doesn't want a situation where people from other region would dominate his own region.
His statement about the Igbo's would be wrong as the President of Nigeria today.
Let us forgive the errors of our heroes past so that Nigeria will move forward.

This belongs to the past and as such should be treated as one, let's focus on the future because the future is here.I will advice my brothers from the east to hold our current leaders responsible for what we are passing through now and forget about the past.

The foundation is faulty. No country can move forward with this level of hatred and distrust in each other. Just like USSR, Nigeria will collapse irretrievably. Its a matter of time. It will happen without bullet. Every successive government have been driving nails of death on the country, by their underdevelopment and selfish regional centredness policy. We are never one, we are still not one and can never be one. Even those preaching oneness knew they are lying.

The only way the Yorubas come on this is because as cowards...they use treachery and deceit to propagate the same perspective.

Yorubas are MOST happy when Igbos are marginalized...than the average northerner...They fear Igbos will overtake them if the FG invest in their region...That's why they will be the first to say that Igbos are not marginalized....that every region is marginalized to divert attention...
