Eyes witness report have it that a handful of women and children lost their lives in a deadly fracas on the eve of the new year of 2018. Omoku Rivers State has been under attack by militia from different camps and boys of popular war lord and notorious kingpin Don Nwani raided the town on 31st night of 2017 till the early hours of 1st January 2018. Over 20 people are feared dead and the number is on the rise. Pregnant women, infants and aged people are not left out.
