My room-mate when i was in school, who was the greatest snorer ever, made me resistant to the worst form of snoring.

I have experience it before, talk to your wife and advise her to sleep without face us...it is due to stress...

Put her into exercise and make her eat diet meal to reduce fat from blocking her nasal cavity which is the cause.

their is no one on earth who doesn't snore..... buh when it becomes too much is reqlly uncalled for. my best advise is to tell her to reduce her daily activities during the day and she shouldn't sleep while facing up buh she could easily get over it while sleeping sideways or face down.

The way the OP is replying everyone here...I dont think he is married and he chose to ignore advice of seeing the doctor knowing fully well that kids are all over here....One even advice him to wake his wife up and have sex with her....A child will always think that marriage is just sex sex sex...OP If you are married and sure of what you posted here..please see a doctor and stop countering any reply here...

That is very harsh of u to say he doesn't Love his wife. From your post alone I can deduce you are currently not with your ex. Schools days was fun but not marriage. You had the time to cuddle and laugh at things no stress at all. We all went through that stage.

@Poster I feel your pain don't stress. This is a forum to share experiences and learn from it. Don't mind comments.. First those suggesting seeing a doctor in this Nigeria. If you have a sleeping disorder specialist no problem. If not face this squarely like men have been facing it for generations . Our better half's (wife's) undergo a lot changes during child birth. One of the changes is this snoring in most cases. So it is not new I am going through it my father went through it so also his father. You are beginning to have sleep deprivation which can affect your health and thinking overall.

Solution you learn to leave around it.

1. Try and sleep earlier than your wife. A few hours of wink before she comes to bed can make a difference.

2. Try different sleeping positions by gently nudging her to change positions.

3. Exercing regularly to shed weight. Good luck at this!!

4. Sleeping in different rooms. It may seem drastic but older couples do this to keep peace in the marriage. Go to bed with an issue on your mind then your wife starts snoring in your hear. My brother the kind of battle that will be unleashed no part 2.

Overall, things change adjust. When you do wake earlier than normal use the time wisely exercise or read or work.
NB. the 4th solution if you decide to migrate to another room to sleep be prepared your wife can all of a sudden show up with a pillow. My guy where you dey run go. Na till death do us part o o!!!. �

I snore as well and it's really stressing my husband out. He only just accidentally said it after I kept pressing to know why he no longer shares the bed with me.
Motherhood no be small thing o as I have to breastfeed my 1 month plus baby all day and at nights .
I have started reading remedies that I Googled and I pray this problem ends soon so my husband doesn't fall sick himself due poor night sleep.

I think he doesn't want to make you feel bad if he tells you openly. Same problem here. But I think I would tell her politely.

Check yourself you might be snoring too. Your wife might also have something to say about your sleep. It might not be every time or a loud snore but I believe everyone snores.

My wife snores during pregnancy what I do if she does: 1. If the snoring is not heavy I allow her to enjoy her sleep. 2. If the snoring is heavy I wake her up to change her sleeping position.

Talk to her in love. Women love it when they know that the love of their life is sincere to them in communications. My wife also snores occasionally, and we discuss freely about it. Snoring is not a sin nor a crime. Encourage her to sleep more on her side than laying on her back. This will reduce the extent of snoring. All the best.

Your question is well understood. You could have seen a doctor on this than sharing it on a social media platform. This is my submissions:

What do your wife do for a living? This maybe as a result of her work stress that is causing her to snoor while sleeping. It is also exhaustion from her daily task that is affecting her sleep pattern.

Also, she need to check her life pattern and she need to redress it. What she eats and when she eats. Again, her sleeping position matters.

Like you said, she is your wife and you love her, kindly treat those snoring as Marvin Gage love song as it maybe as a result of daily exhaustion trying to assist you put food to our home and assist in paying the bills. She deserves some respect and not to be posted on a social media platform.
