WORDWORLD: Are you sure you are alright ? Clashes we have had before? In another life or in this one? In flesh or in spirit? In reality or in dream? I have 2 monikers, butterflylion and this one so which of them has clashed with you in the past and why would they want to "disguise " themselves to respond to you? First teach yourself to be a good advertiser of Islam before you talk about Christianity. Telling you as it is based on my own observations must be a bit unsettling for you but the truth needs to be said so if you find my calling you "mischievous " a strange or uncomfortable thing then have a discussion with your own topics in the religion section. 1 Like |

MuttleyLaff: You are not answering my question. Am honestly here to learn. DO YOU KNOW WHAT CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE. I read a book tittle: 'Common grounds between Buddhism and Islam'. And it really got me thinking how we so much have missed seeking to understand each other. And also another book by a former Agnostic. 'Islam and the Destiny of man'. THESE ARE GREAT BOOKS TO READ. Well, why should we turn this to a guessing game. When i intentionally asked you to back your answer up with an authenticity from the Bible in order to make you answer not a fantasy but a FACT. So why should it become a game of conjecture. |

MuttleyLaff: I get you clearly. Which i must ask this question. What about the remaining parts of the world. Were there nobody sent to them but only the Jews. While we are all created by the same God. I mean before the coming of Jesus Christ. Its like the Bible is all about the Jews alone, which is more like a monopoly of faith. |

MuttleyLaff: I like the solace which laces your response full of tranquility. Unlike they FANATICS and LUNATICS i come across in this sections. I havent visited this section for a long while. All that i know is that Jesus is mentioned in Matthew along as his purpose which is to save his people from their sins. The purpose but not the meaning. Here are some reveiws of the book: Islam and the Destiny of man. First by Jennifer: This may be the best book I've ever read. the story of Islam, and the story of the Prophet Muhammad, is often impossible for the person reared in modernism and/or secularism to understand. modernism takes for granted that the past was not as good as the present, that human life is continually improving. secularism takes for granted that religion cannot, or should not, govern the minutiae of a person's life, that individual freedom is the most important value. Islam is a fundamentally different way to view reality... a story of the perennial philosophy, the way that human beings have related to their Creator since time immemorial, and yet, the sound of it always hits the modern ear wrongly. but since he speaks both languages—that of the West, and that of Islam—fluently, it's the best possible chance for the modern reader to "get" Islam, if, indeed, he really wants to. it cannot be overestimated how important this book is. it is a book written by someone who knows how to explain Islam to people who are innately hostile to it, but who do not realize they are hostile, who think they are open-minded, but who in fact stopped listening already. LOVE this book. |

Secondly by Tim:"Gaton describes himself in a way that was
immediately identifiable, as a Muslim who
came to the faith "through intellectual
conviction and with a belief in the
transcendent unity of all revealed religions".
This transcendent unity in Islam, which is
known through the principle of Tawhid, is a
natural extension of the Oneness of Allah. To
state this principle as an article of faith and
worldview is one thing, to realize its full
implications is quite another - particularly for
the Western mind.
"Islam is the religion of all or nothing, faith
in a Reality which allows nothing to have
independent reality outside its orbit; for if
there were such a thing, however distant,
however hidden, it would impugn the
perfection and the totality of that which alone
is." This is a fundamental re-thinking of
identity structures, an entirely new paradigm
from a Western mindset. Islam identifies
through religion, as nothing is outside of
religion. Practice and belief are all part of
one coherent structure. Everything we see,
everything we think, everything we do is a
reflection of our Creator, and therefore
nothing is outside of the Creator's domain.
As humans, our independence is there in
that we are created with free will, but not
there in that we are dependent upon the
Creator for that free will.
Nonetheless, we are still human, and
therefore subject to imperfections as
humans. These imperfections are seen in
how we follow the divine "law" (which is at
base simply a recognition of the nature of
"being". The law is as fundamental to Islam
as is belief in the ONE. The law is not a
separate sphere, it is life itself. It is how the
perfected life operates. It is congruent to the
term "the laws of nature". There is no
separation.
This can be difficult for the Western mind to
grasp, as Western culture is fundamentally
built on Christendom, as much as we may or
may not want to admit that. Christianity has
over the centuries created separate
compartments for the spiritual and the
mundane. This world here and now is
separated - in a sense - from the spiritual in
a way that doesn't make sense to the
Muslim. Tawhid does not allow separation,
everything is intertwined. It might be said
that Western culture is only recently starting
to realize this by acknowledging that "we are
all one" or "we are all connected at base".
Islam has long realized this, even if certain
Muslims don't always live out this belief in
relation to other human beings.
Eaton is not only a Western Muslim, but has
a vision of where that places him in the
world. He has an incredible grasp of both
(generalized) the West and Islam, and knows
how to communicate through both to both in
a way that is crucial for understanding.

Truth vs illusion. How does one discern the difference? The answer is through questioning. On one hand however, the illusionists believe that to question is to lack faith. Therefore, they will redefine questioning to mean (clarity) instead of truth but what is (clarity) if not to enforce that which you already believe. Truth. The concept of a mystery god was created by the Jews while enslaved in Egypt. They gained deep insights into human nature and combined them with their existing beliefs. Before the concept of a mystery god, all gods were physical deities. Their Arab cousins then stole the concept to create their own version of a mystery god and called it Allah. The Romans conquered Israel but after a century of rule they couldn’t break the will of the Jews. In fact, the mystery god concept also began to corrupt Romans. 60 years after Jesus died the Roman general Saul created a buy-in by claiming to have a divine intervention on the road to Damascus. The entire mystery god concept was rewritten to give access to heaven to all people, not just the Jews. Who would create a concept of such power and give access to their enemy? No-one! Illusionists will try all they want to redefine the concept but the truth still remains. Ask any Jew in Israel who will enter their heaven and they will tell you, only them, no one else. Only smart people are able to create their own motivations in life. |

MuttleyLaff: Al-masseh is a title its not a name in essence. Lol, laugh wan fall me down "UNIMPRESSIVE REVIEWS". Okay o..lol. well its there and there is nothing you can do about it. Why the vexation about posting reviews about a book you by yourself choose to read. Is it out of contempt your are reading the book or interest? well as i told you the remaining one million find it impressive. You see, any piece of writing is open to interpretation and indeed is interpreted differently depending on the reader's nature and personality. Someone who is shallow, and superficial will always interprete his or her reading supperficially ignoring DETAILS. A profoundly deep person approaches it with profundity, trying as much as possible to grasp the message and more than the message to understand the MOTIVE. An arrogant person approaches his readings with arrogance and looks for passages or sentences to justify his or her arrogance. SEEKERS AFTER TRUTH approach a book or writing with the TRUEST, PUREST LIGHT their heart can give and INTELLECTUAL CAPACITY, hence with CONSCIENCE and are CONSCIETIOUS. Do have a good read. |

WORDWORLD: You're right . He pronounced salvation to him. It still has to do with his death . Salvation is believing in Christ as the son of God sent to bring life and redemption. There is difference between concept of salvation in the Old Testament and in the new. The Old Testament looks towards the cross while the New Testament look back at the cross. So we have prophets who have spoken about the messiah coming and people were looking forward to him . The salvation that was named on them can not be a reality until he dies . Those who received him receive power to become sons of God after he died and rose . John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Those who believed in Christ under the Old Testament were brought out of hell when Jesus rose . They went with him to heaven. Matthew 27:50-53 -- Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Saints of Old have been waiting for this event . David spoke about this event ahead of time . Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption Apostle Peter confirm this event again in his first message at Pentecost Acts 2:27-28 Acts 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him. . .28.Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. . .31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. So you can see that their salvation before and after the cross were all connected to his death and resurrection. |

Re: Please Can Anybody Explain This? Am Not Here To Argue! by Nobody: 11:23am On Jan 07, 2018 |
Emmanystone: I like as you have put it. "The Muslim 'MAY' be and not 'IS' troubled about his soul". Which would have been an emphatic statement. Thank you for your generosity. The Muslim is not troubled about his soul. He is only seeking for understanding as to how he is being approached by some Christains telling him to leave his own faith with the hope that if he believes in the doctrines that Jesus died for his sins, he is blessed with SALVATION. A Muslim appreciates or should appreciate such gestures when being approached because the intention of that christain is one that shows concern TO SAVE HE OR SHE. What the muslim is seeking is how this SALVATION doctrine works. Because his own faith teaches him like as Jesus accepted to use the LAW in the story of Zachaesus which emphasis on RESPONSIBILITY and GOOD CONDUCT. That you are responsible for the friuts of your actions and not that anybody will bear the ILL FRUITS on your behalf or a 'price has being paid'. Personal responsiblity and good conduct has been the teachings right from day one. What am trying to understand is of what RELEVANCE is Jesus dying for the sins of Mankind if the LAW worked on RESPONSIBILTY and yet you are saved. What is the ESSENCE of Jesus dying for the sins of mankind if the same the LAW, RESPONSIBILITY is still requires. That is, conversely GOOD ACTIONS saved mankind before Jesus died for the sins of mankind and is still required after his Death. SO WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF HE DIED FOR OUR SINS WHICH EQUATES SALVATION PLUS GOOD ACTION? What does it proof? Is it necessary? And why is his sacrifice not sufficient unless a human action is required which is to do good? HOW THEN HAS JESUS DYING FOR THEY SINNER, WHO IN THIS CONTEXT IS THAT PERSON SO IRRESPONSIBLE. For responsibility have been the saving grace with the law, SALVATION like Zaccheaus. I hope you can see my intentions and pespective which am trying to understand how the salvation doctrine works. ALL OF THE ANSWERS GIVEN HAS NOT SHOWN ANY RELEVANCE TO JESUS DYING FOR OUR SINS, IF HUMAN ACTION IS STILL A CONSIDERING FACTOR THEN SUCH SACRIFICE IS NOT REQUIRED BECAUSE IT SERVES NO PURPOSE. IF IT DOES, HOW?! And that really is why I asked that question. If you don't have a tangible answer now please take your time to figure it out. Re: Please Can Anybody Explain This? Am Not Here To Argue! by Nobody: 12:23pm On Jan 07, 2018 |
Emmanystone: O thank you for your time am grateful. Its a very, very DIFFICULT position this doctrine of JESUS DIED FOR THE SINS OF MAN KIND. For there is a human act 'A' which was done and have been saving lifes which equates to salvation. Hence Jesus 'B' dying for the sins of mankind is not necessary if it must depend on 'A' to be an act of SALVATION. What it means is that 'B' cannot stand on its own as SALVATION except with 'A' of which 'A' has been standing on its own without 'B' as SALVATION. SO 'B' JESUS AS A SACRIFICE IS NOT NECESSARY BECAUSE 'A' HAS BEEN DOING THE JOB MEANT FOR 'B' TO. Unless 'B' can stand on its own without 'A' then a PRICED AS BEEN PAID because it can stand on its own otherwise it is not necessary. How is it necessary is my question. muttelylaff, enilove, petra1, anonyNymous, twosquare, butterflylion,adepeter2027, dohgon, emmanystone, ferisidowu. |

WORDWORLD: As I said earlier , it is necessary. Jesus does not rely on Adam to fulfill his work of salvation for mankind , if that is the summary of the quoted post above. You also do not have to suffer for the sins of your forefathers, if you accept Jesus death as a remissions for your sins. After that , you are expected to go and sin no more: John 8:5-12 KJV Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? [6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not . [7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. [8] And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. [9] And they which heard it , being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. [10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? [11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. [12] Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Pls note; Any religion that teaches you that a sinner will make heaven is of the devil. |
