It is no longer news that the local govt elections for chairmanship and councillorship positions were slated for yesterday 6th January 2018.

It is however on record that the sham process witnessed series of irregularities thanks to the inept and compromised leadership of DSIEC obviously acting a script of the "ego aria" governor.

As expected, results have started coming in even though elections did not hold in over 90 per cent of polling centre's with the ruling PDP claimed to have won all councillorship seats including that of the chairman in Patani L. G. A.

It is instructive however to note that any results declared by DSIEC as the outcome of the "selection" is a clear cut manifestation of the dictatorial tendencies of governor Okowa as it do not reflect the choices of the electorates in Delta State.

APC brought violence into Delta state local election, they have been defeated.
