It has become pertinent to set the records straight to save the future. On that note a questionnaire is here to establish whose interest supercedes the other's between the Fulani Herders and the Nigerian Farmers.

So far, 75% of respondents have maintained that the farmers's interest is superior to the interest of the herdsmen.

Firstly, it has been noted that 90% of erstwhile herders alive usually convert to crop farmers across northern Nigeria.

*Secondly, the herders and there sponsors eat foods cultivated by farmers just the way every Nigerian do. It follows that farmers feed the nation. But herders aren't feeding the nation.

*Thirdly, there are health conditions that necessitate a person being told to avoid cow meat; but there can't be such situation where a person will be told by a sane physician to avoid "farmed produce" (farmed produce here encompasses tubers, cereals, grains, fruits, vegetables, and all the others).

What's your take, fellow Nairalander
