This is a wonderful initiative by the Abia State governor. God bless him. With the government's support Abia can merge as top economic state in west Africa. The potential is there. That's how China grew. Not by church not by education but with skills and hard work.

Good.

Investment in humans is laudable.

It is safe to semi-authoritatively say that this is Abia's first achievement of any kind under this Governor.

The Abia State Government makes the Kogi State Government, and that of Imo State look like that of Lagos State.

4th guy in the 4th picture. What's with him with the yellow socks standing on the yellow line?did not even know yellow socks exists.

See like the socks dey shine like traffic light.

You are very funny. They probably flew Ethiopian Airline from Naija to Addis Ababa to connect to China. The yellow socks was given on board Ethiopian Airline, usually in a pack containing tooth brush, tooth paste, lip balm, ear piece etc to all passengers. I flew Ethiopian Airline in December 2017 and got same pack which also had yellow socks. These long flights can be really cold, so dude had to cover his feet. Check their first pic, someone else is wearing a yellow socks squatting.

Funny guy. Great points though.

Y'see, this is what Africans should be doing. Even if it means stealing the know-how from these countries. I heard countries like China and Japan had spying squads they would send to these European countries and the US, and steal info on certain technologies the whites were unwilling to share with them. Those are the kind of moves we should be making. Of course, where the info can be obtained without having to steal it, (as in this case), no probs. Go for it.

We need to also start thinking of building THE BLACK PLANE.

The first black-built passenger aircraft.

The 30 trainees out of 100 shoemakers/ shoe cobblers sponsored by Abia state government - have landed safely in China. The trainees are in the Asian country for a 30 day automated shoe training programme in a bid to promote made in Aba products.

The shoemakers and some government officials boarded a direct flight to Chengdu in China on Tuesday 9th, January 2018, where they will be trained at Chengdu Zaproma Shoe Company.

Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu charged the trainees to be of good behavior, learn every single step and bring back the knowledge for others to learn.
