Hell Is Not Forever. by Ken4Christ: 5:00pm On Jan 11
The subject of hell is highly controversial but it does exist. It is a place of torment. It is however a temporary place of torment where sinners go until the final day of judgment.
There is a place worse than hell. It is called the Lake of fire. After final judgment, all those whose names are not found in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire. Hell itself after releasing those in it for final judgment will be thrown into the Lake of fire.
Give your life to Jesus if you don't want to experience this torment.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. note
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Ken4Christ:my brother pls dnt read ur bible upside down.. ones one goes to hell thier is no hope of the person going to the paradise again after the final judgement..
if a man/woman dies, they spirit would be judged immediately, that's first judgement..
if the person live a righteous life while on earth, he/she goes to Abraham bosom, and on the other hand if the person lived a sinful life he or she goes to hell fire..
then on the day of the final judgement, all the people both in hell and Abraham bosom will come out..
and God will now judge everyone one by one for all to see...
then those that came out from abraham bosom will be rewarded according to thier work while on earth, and those that came out from hell will then be trown into the lake of fire..
so don't let anyone deceive u by telling u that there is still hope for anyone that is in hell to later go to heaven..

Please, read my post carefully. I didn't infer any of the things you mentioned.
Re: Hell Is Not Forever. by Ken4Christ: 4:06pm On Jan 12
It was deliberate. I wanted to get the attention of those who are skeptic about eternal damnation.

Lol...so after being made a barbecue in hell, your remains will be teleported to the lake of fire to complete the roasting.
Living in fear can fvck your mind up big time.
Re: Hell Is Not Forever. by frosbel2: 5:15pm On Jan 12
Their entire religion is based on FEAR!
That is why it is being rejected by many more intelligent people on a daily basis.
A god who will burn his creatures in an eternal furnace for eons upon eons is neither worthy of love nor worship!

The OP is correct in saying that "hell-fire" is not forever.
However, the Seventh-day Adventists' beliefs on the subject are a little different in other aspects.
Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
We don't believe in "hell" and the "lake of fire" being separate.
We believe in "hell-fire" and not a continual everlasting place of torment.
Everlasting..(in this context)....meaning "never to return again"....and not to "continue forever".
When a fire burns, it actually burns until it is reduced to ashes...meaning no more.
Which is what will occur to those who will not live eternally...and which is a terrible and horrendous consequence which will have to occur.
The effects of sin...and choosing to live for it has seriously devastating and eternal consequences...AND it must be destroyed....
Those who continue to live in sin will have to be destroyed...cause sin is never to rise again.
Now as unappealing and solemn as that is, God is still a God of mercy in that He wouldn't want to have people who have chosen eternal damnation to be "forever" burning.
That would be cruel...and God is not a God who delights in suffering....(I know some people may challenge this statement)....not fully understanding the nature of sin....
One of the most controversial topics....in the Bible. All I can suggest is to prayerfully study and ask the Holy Spirit to guide one into all truth.
Here's more info about what SDA's teach.
Seven reasons why hell won't burn eternally:
1.Hell burns on the face of the earth, then this earth is recreated as the home of the saved.
2.God is just and fair, He punishes lost sinners in proportion to their evil deeds.
3.Man is not immortal.
4.God is love. You or I would not torture our children forever no matter how disobedient they had been. Are we more loving than God?
5.God says the wages of sin is death, not eternal torture.
6.God plans to eradicate sin, not immortalize it.
7.God plans to destroy the wicked and says so many times in the Bible.

If there is no hell, then there is no heaven. Every positive has a negative. Use your common sense.

catholic = you first go to purgatory.
jehovah witness = there is no hell.
this one= first go to a torture chamber then go to lake of fire. (all this from a loving god oh) he will throw you in torture chamber and then lake of fire for telling small white lie.

Jesus who made the world says there is. You expect me to believe you more than the one who created me and gave me life. He didn't only reveal there is hell, he was in the heart of hell for three nights so that those who believe in him will not need to go there. And while in hell, he released the Saints that were in a close section called paradise or Abraham's bossom. They followed Jesus to heaven during his ascension.
Also in hell, he defeated the devil and collected the keys of hell and of death from him.
It's up to you to believe or disbelieve this facts. But you will have to face the consequence of your choice.
