Your international passport is an essential travel document that identifies you as a citizen of your country and provides some basic information about you. Depending on how powerful the passport of your country is, you may not require a visa to visit a certain number of countries.

Henley & Partners, a global leader in residence and citizenship planning which helps with immigration around the world ranks the Nigerian passport as the 89th most powerful in the world. This is shown in its Henley Passport Index.

So, which countries can you enter visa free if you hold a Nigerian passport. See the list and regions of the world next:

Kindly delete Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania from the list. I have visited all 3 countries on a couple occasions and required visas at every entry.

Most Euro countries are crap. In fact, you'll have better opportunities in African countries such as Mauritius and Botswana than in many parts of Europe. Forget the hype (or shall we say the stories).

And Dominica and Barbados isn't bad either. I have visited the Barbados on holiday ... very beautiful and extremely organized.

I'd love to visit Barbados... Can you please highlight the process of visiting on tourism

Bingo!

My cousin was born and bred in London. He has visited practically every major city in Europe and, according to him, his favorite city is Vienna, Austria. But if you're basing your judgment on what we hear in the "news", you'll assume that it would be: Paris, London, Berlin, Rome etc.

I travelled with a native Barbadian. I used to date a babe from Barbados in my college freshman year, so we went there for summer holiday - just two weeks though. And I enjoyed every single minute of it. My only regret was that I travelled with a babe ... so I couldn't "explore" tongue

With a US passport, you don't need a visa to travel to Barbados.
