The land is cursed.... leaders feel no shame going abroad for treatment instead of building a presidential hospital, the people believe in quick easy money/ irresponsibility is the order of the day. Even trains once operational Nigerians would run it down.

It is self evident so ur "Nigeria is blessed" is mere sentiment.

It is time for Nigerians to have an introspection as a people and stop blaming the government....

What of the kidnappers? Ritualists? Reckless drivers? Leaders are to be blamed for those too?

Yes. Our leaders share much of the blame. If we have a good leader with good team, the country will change. Southi Africa,Egypt, Botswana e.t.c have good economy today because of their leaders. They may not be totally developed but their government had being able to provide some basic necessities ( constant power supply, good health care and good road network). Smaller countries like Togo obey traffic rules because their leaders that made it so. Here in nigeria our leaders rarely obey traffic signs. Most of them drive recklessly yet they expect the followers to obey .
