A Senator, representing Ebonyi South in the National Assembly, Sonni Ogbuoji, was on Wednesday denied his plan to dump his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Mr Ogbuoji had shown his intent while speaking on the floor of the senate and cited problems in his party, both in his state and at the national level, as the reason why he wanted to leave the party.

As his submission to the Senate continues, his colleagues in PDP cut him short and refused to allow him pronounce the final point of the defection.
