Atletico Madrid have told Tottenham they will have to pay £26.5m if they want to sign Kevin Gameiro.

Spurs are reportedly tracking the striker and they want to bring him in on loan until the end of the season.

But, according to AS, Atletico will only let the Frenchman go if someone pays £26.5m.

Gameiro has fallen down the pecking order under Diego Simeone following the arrival of Diego Costa from Chelsea.

However, the 30-year-old is still viewed as a valuable squad player and Atletico do not see the benefit to letting him leave on loan.

As such, clubs will have to broker a permanent deal for Gameiro if they want to sign him.
