Pls have been so puzzled about this question, why Nigerians believed so much in buhari as d Messiah,

Because we thought he was the messiah, the one that will magically change Nigeria for good..


But we forgot Fela's message..

Because we were desperate for change; we thought voting would bring something meaningful and worthwhile...

Because most Nigerians are fools...now they are fooled twice.

Only lazy people who like to be spoon fed believe in him

I believed he would fight corruption, as opposed to the incumbent Jonathan who was proudly campaigning on behalf of corruption while seeking for votes in Enugu.

Also considering the coalition of seasoned technocrats who rejected a continuation of Jonathan's disaster, I believed he will draw from a rich pool to populate his administration.

Instead, he made the mistake of appointing a corruption seeking and useless ethnic champion as chief of staff, and from then onwards, all other appointments became a disaster.

Mr integrity also showed himself to be a hypocrite when he began seeking health care services in the UK, despite his early condemnation of such.

Buhari came into power with no plan, and is even leaving with no plan for his life after sack.

Please take ur tym and read dis ...the red signs were there since, but because we Nigerians always have a short memory we tend to forget even what happend last year talk more of somethings of 20 years back

History need to be taught rigorously in our schools here.

In the election of the OAU Secretary-General in 1985, Buhari voted against Nigeria and for Niger instead. He secured the election of Ide Oumarou, a Fulani man from Niger; as opposed to an Igbo man from Nigeria. By so doing, Buhari became the first and only Head of State in the history of modern international relations to vote against his country in favour of his tribe.

Nigeria has not been bad like this before....Any hope for the future?
