The incident which occurred in the early morning hours of today [February 1] at about 4am was believed to have disrupted a planned Fulani herdsmen attack on the people of Benue State. According to our source, the seven young men had arrived Gboko deep in the night – and were believed to be heading towards Taraba State when they were intercepted by the vigilante group.
