Minister of Defence, Prince Kayode Adetokunbo, has said Nigeria is prepared and willing to face any threat posed by terrorists in any part of the country.
According to him, Nigeria's security forces have undergone radical transformation which have made them fully ready to defend the territorial integrity of the country at all times.

Speaking in Kaduna yesterday when he inspected ongoing projects being executed by the Army Headquarters in various parts of the state, the minister said he is confident Nigeria now has an army that will take care of itself, as well as take care of the country.
He said the Federal Government will continue to meet its obligations to the armed forces, and commended the army authorities for initiating the projects which he said will go a long way in preparing men and officers of the force for future challenges.

Adetokunbo, who was accompanied in the tour by his Minister of State Alhaji Murtala Yar'Adua and the Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Abdulrahman Dambazau, said all the projects inspected shows the new direction of service and dedication among those in authority.
At the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital which is being upgraded to a United Nations Level IV certified hospital, the Minister said when completed, the project will afford Nigerians opportunity of top class medical facility which will meet the yearnings of both soldiers and civilians alike.

The project, which has a Presidential Wing, is expected to cater for top class citizens and head of foreign governments who will desire its services.
He described the progress of work at the site as miraculous, and urged various state governments to emulate the army in setting up similar facilities at their states.
