The living faith church employs 18,000 Nigerians across many sectors and is significantly scattered over 65 nations of the Earth just as rccg is in 198 countries. So yes it is necessary that they use jets.

Before anyone mentions the Pope, when last did the pope visit Nigeria? Or even W/Africa. But Oyedepo in a past post today travelled to 27 nations at a go in 2004 hence he clearly needs this mode of transportation.... Think well before you quote me.

By the way I love how Oyedepo and Adeboye are using the same Hangar-it shows both of em are very close. It would also help both Organizations save a lot of money on parking their jets and those of members cool

Jealous of what? Ill gotten wealth?? There are people that are ready to do anything for money. Lying & exploiting with the word of God, rituals, yahoo yahoo, fraud, drugs e.t.c...These are the kind of people that will be envious when someone else makes it big with ill gotten wealth.

The main problem is they make the wealth using the name of God thus commiting blasphemy against his name and his word.

If you think everyone is jealous of ill gotten wealth, then think again. There are still a lot of people that will stand firm and condemn the wrong without any thoughts of payment.

You guys should all get a job and work on your hustles and stop counting other people's blessings! I see why Nigeria has got the highest number of poor people....they are poor and instead of finding something meaningful to do, they instead castigate another person who is rich. Jobless idiots!!! Misplaced priority!!!! You guys see politicians who milk the nation dry, instead of standing up to them, you still vote them into power claiming they will do better if voted the second time!!!!
Government has not provided an enabling environment even for the poor to thrive.

Just as expected, the critics are flooding in. Where were you when he started?, Do you know the amount of charity he has engaged in? undecided Or folks just love criticizing from the comfort of their homes The fact that Nigerians are extremely religious and want everything on a platter of gold is a mentality issue, not his.

You expect the private schools to collect same as federal but at the same time expect them to be of World-Class standard without FG assistance, How

Do you know the amount of people that'll be without a Job if not for men like Dr. Oyedepo?, Let me stop here for now.

What does the Sultan have to do with jet-riding pastors who should be modest runners of non-profits/charities living like kings, government cronies and oligarchs and venal politicians? Islams asks people of the faith to give to the poor in their midst. The Sultan doesn't demand Muslims bring their money to him.

There are loads of religious institutions in the world (Catholics, Anglicans/Episcopalians and other older Protestant churches) with more members than Winners Chapel or even Redeemed who don't have their leadership cruising around in private jets. There are UN organisations like the Red Cross who might charter cargo flights to transports huge quantities of relief materials, but you won't catch their leadership cruising around in private jets.
Those pastors didn't buy the jets because they "need" them. Stop deceiving yourself. The overwhelming majority of those who buy them do it because they want to, not because they need to. Private jets are the ultimate status symbol representing wealth and power and privilege. And those pastors love to ride their jets and convoys/motorcades and prance around like God himself and their members worship them like gods.

It is a perversion of the Christian faith which is espoused by modern-day prosperity Gospel Pentecostal churches where people applaud shepherds of the flock living in opulence. These people would be sneered at in Europe as frauds and charlatans, but it's bizarre that in an impoverished shithole like Nigeria, you have people who genuinely believe that modest living is not for their pastors and their pastors must live like kings.

O sheep. O sheep. So the followers of reverend Jim Jones (Guyana tragedy) defended him until he made them commit group suicide. I can not understand how religion makes even intelligent people become naive. As the Jim Joneses were all discovered to be fakes (yes all his miracles were fakes) so shall these fraudsters be revealed some day. Sadly poverty levels have made many incapable of reasoning. Have you sheeple ever asked your self why religion is on the wane in the most developed western societies? It is because they have come to realise the superiority of reasoning over blind faith.

Where has blind faith led the third world? We are the most religious but look at us. We still follow the discoveries of an increasing non religious or non Christian world. I close with the saying quoted at the end of the afforementioned movie " Guyana Tragedy" - Those who forget the past are bound to repeat the same mistakes in the future. Peace

So Nigeria just officially became the country with the poorest citizens or so, not so sure about the exact tin but something tht has to do with poverty. So the common man is getting poor, dying then pastors are becoming the richest in the world. Is it not obvious there is a problem.

I know u might be a Pentecostal, obviously u r, so u will c nytyn bad written about these pastors as an attack, tht typical of a Nigerian, biased, sentimental. The argument tht they have provided jobs for pple, is just rubbish. You milk millions of pple, and pay a bit to 18000 and ur here talking nonsense.

You then mentioned the pope, pls wen u r talking bout men of God, pls don't mention adeboye and the pope in the same sentence. The pope doesn't need to travel, but his words will resonate across the world from his window in the Vatican than adeboye or oyedepos words will Travel even if they use their private jet to go round the countries of the world.

So u see the world of God doesn't need a private jet to be propagated. The apostles, early missionaries didn't have no private ship which they used to drive the gospel to most part of the earth. So how come our pastors of today now see it as a necessity to have a private jet bfre u can propagate the gospel.

Before you start praising the churches simply ask yourself. Why 45% of Nigerian are extremely poor when we have the church, when we have so many churches. In the times of Peter, James, and John, the poor can come to church and receive what they lack. These days they wait for God instead and pay tithes and expect huge cash like MMM. While the pastors own Jets and Big Cars.

What obligations does he have to repair the roads to his village? What about the idiots we voted into public offices to have such roads constructed? It is obvious that people get poorer in the country and they run to churches for refuge as the future is bleak and the idiots to hold accountable are the politicians we vote into power blindly!!!! Whoever wants to go to church should go, whoever wants to pay tithes and offerings should go ahead, its their choices...don't blame who is collecting them!!!!!!

but if they can make the schools more affordable for their poor church members, it will be more appreciated.

First-class education is not cheap! How has government managed its cheap tuition schools? Someone must cover the heavy cost! These schools have functioning libraries, working laboratories, sports facilities, clean environment, 24/7 power supply, etc, unlike cheap government run schools. Now you see the reason why tuitions seem high?

whosoever brought this to the front page is out for mischief and also an attempt to discredit the man of God. no matter what, the church is marching on and the gate of hell shall never prevale against it. Bishop is one of the strong voices of the church in Nigeria today against the nonsense going on in the country and any attempt to silence him through whatever means shall be vocally resisted anytime. if you have problem with his blessing please stop paying your meagre tithes and offering.mind you God is not in need but he is seeking for those to bless.
