DR. ABIODUN SAKA LAYONU MOURNS AKINWUMI ISOLA’S DEATH

A distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and one of the Osun APC gubanatorial aspirants, Dr. Abiodun Saka Layonu has commiserated with Nigerians especially stakeholders in writing and movie industries.
A statement signed and issued by his spokesperson described the Late Prof. Akinwumi Isola as humble, brilliant, intelligent and resourceful Yoruba playwright and novelist.
Dr. Abiodun Saka Layonu further noted that the late literary giant was a great novelist and actor who devoted his life to the advancement of Yoruba language and literature.
“Prof. Akinwumi Isola was a selfless, disciplined and patriotic Nigerian writer who lived a worthy and exemplary life. His thirst for knowledge and education propelled his foray into many fields of intellectual pursuit especially Yoruba language and literature. May God give his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss, Dr. Abiodun Saka Layonu added.

What a great loss to the Yoruba race....
