The Leader of the South East Elders Forum, Dr Dozie Ikedife, has debunked the News that the Forum endorsed President Buhari for the 2019 elections.

Dr Ikedife, while speaking to Journalists, stated that the organization held a meeting on the 15th of February in Enugu but that the 2019 elections was not part of what was discussed. He said that the resolutions of that meeting was given to the Press and was published in the Sun Newspaper on 22nd of February, page 36.

He said that it was embarassing that certain media outlets were publishing unfounded stories about him and the South East Elders Forum. He went on to state that the organization has not endorsed anyone for the 2019 Presidential elections and urged Media Houses to verify information to avoid putting out fake News.
