Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN will flag off the much awaited Araromi-Lagos Road on Wednesday, 14th March, 2018 at Araromi Seaside Ilaje Local Government Area of the State.

Governor Akeredolu in April 2017 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Niger Delta Development Commission ((NDDC) for the construction of the 50km Akodo-Araromi Road. The road would link Akodo in Lagos State to Araromi in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State and `unearth the hidden treasures’ in Ondo South Senatorial District.

The project is a joint venture between the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC and Ondo State Oil Development Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC.

The Chairman of the NDDC, Senator Ndoma Egba and Board Members as well as traditional rulers of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas are expected to be present during the flag off.

The flag off had earlier been scheduled for Tuesday, 6th March 2018 but has to be postponed to ensure all stakeholders are adequately carried along.

This is another testimony to the determination of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu's Administration to industrialize Ondo through provision of critical project for investment to thrive.
