Facebook has introduced video calling features to its Messenger Lite version. The new update allows users to chat face to face as it done on the Core Messenger version. The new feature is coming after the company reportedly made a total of 17 billion video chats in Messenger alone back in 2017. According to Facebook, the figure was twice the amount reported back in 2016 the previous year.

The new update is now rolling out to Lite users, it should be available to everyone in the coming days. it should be noted that Facebook Messenger Lite only weighs 10MB in size. Whats your view on this?
