Good evening LIRS colleagues, it's with sadness that We, the LIRS union give this present update.
On 6th March, the Union chairman, Comrade Taqwa returned the LIRS birth day cake to the Executive Chairman of LIRS Mr SUBAIR because his conscience & that of the entire union exco could not take the marginalization/victimisation of colleagues on TRS to SRS cadre for birthday celebration.
He was issued a query because of this (see copy) and he responded (see copy) and also banned from coming to 5th floor LIRS. Further, efforts were made by State ASCSN chairman & secretary to see Mr SUBAIR and make him understand the reasons behind this were rebuffed by Mr SUBAIR & mgt.
Then the union chairman was issued a summon on 9th March 2018 to appear before Disciplinary committee on 12th March 2018 by 12noon for gross misconduct. One wonders when returning of a privileged item becomes gross misconduct.
We are aware of remarks particularly in HQ by staff who believe they are close to mgt and are mgt spies amongst staff - today is here, tomorrow is known by none.
We have also contacted the State Exco of ASCSN and they are aghast by this unfriendly behaviour and victimization by LIRS mgt.
At this point, your prayers to the Most High, support and comradeship is vital to ensure LIRS is positioned positively for staff. Please your presence on 5th floor HQ premises is key on Monday 12th March 2018 with the tie & scarves given for 7years+

Victimisation of the highest order!!! Greedy management all what they know is their selfish interest.

A lot really happening in that agency. I pity the poor staff. 90% of them are on bank loan just to survive, pay bills. their management threaten them with sack letter. they don't provide conducive working environment. some of them use their hard earned money to buy plastic chairs to sit in the Office. they lost 6 young vibrant staff in 30days to the cold hand of sudden death and their management could not send ordinary condolence letter to staff let alone the parent of the deceased. infact I pity those guys despite raking in 80%of Lagos IGR.

This country really behaves like a zoo.... why??

they even said their management failed to give them the 30% December bonus approved by the governor last year.

The management removes #2500 FROM staff salary for coming late to training that has no training allowance.

Lirs staff are the only govt staff that didn't go home with any goodies all thru last year.

Our informant also said the management sold all the buses meant to be converted to staff buses to themselves and relatives.

The union claimed the management refused to release their financial members schedule to them despite several request

lagosians are shouting that a private company's name is mistakenly inserted into a bill, little do they know that even in the so called almighty LIRS,work shedules meant for this poorly treated staffs are outsourced and contracted to private hands.

you create an agency for revenue collection and you outsource their work to private companies

the tyrant management will say the staff are civil servants,they should treated as such.

the question is: ARE THIS SET OF MANAGEMENT COLLECTING THE SAME REMUNERATION WITH DIRECTORS IN ALAUSA? CAPITAL NO

this current tyrants called management lives like kings and their staff live like slaves

the tyrant management will say " you should be happy we gave you job". IS IT THEIR FATHERS JOB?

most of the staff are lagosian by law, birth and right,we also pay taxes

Special thanks to the OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR AND THE OFFICE OF THE HEAD OF SERVICE,for the fast mediation on the various injustices done by the tyrant management of LIRS

No official statement has been heard from this tyrant and fraudulent set of management

I heard they still insist the LIRS union leader must be punished and still stand on their ground of maltreating their staffs

I am very sure their staff await the official pronouncement and not the promise of word that was told to the honorable office of the head of service and spread by the union itself(how gullible the union can be)

I hope the union leader and his team are not foolish enough to think it is over with the intervention of the head of service, THIS TYRANTS CALLED LIRS MANAGEMENT HAS A LOT COMING TO ALL OF YOU IN FORM OF RETALIATIONS( THEY WILL DO IT,THAT I KNOW)

To the so called governor office personnel that got in contact to me through mail, you will soon see with EVIDENCES how some of these tyrant management directors suddenly became shopping plaza owners’ over-night after becoming an LIRS director
