Violent death : 1,351 killed in 10 weeks

The North-East remains the killing field with 591 deaths. It is followed by North-Central, 270; North-West, 193; South-West, 136; and South-South, 131. At the bottom of the list is South-East, 30.

Contrary to what we normally here in Nigeria, we are often told that the SE is the most risky region in Nigeria apart from the NE. We can see from this report (the link is attached below). Just 30 out of 1351 deaths are from the SE. Anioma from the report had 7 deaths some coming from Fulani terrorists. In the Rivers Igbo area, as many as 53 deaths mainly from cult groups. Giving a total of 90 out of 1351 deaths or less than 6.5 percent of the total in Nigeria.
Abia had just a single death through violence yet people , the ignorant ones and enemies of the Igbo nation often make claims of the SE being a war zone. The SE is not a war zone.
