the backward of north is affecting this country. I think we need to separate. Nigeria can not move forward because of these people.

Sigh* the North can't be left to rot educationally like this. The southern people are becoming more exposed hence demanding greater leadership while the north is wallowing in poverty and Islamic fanaticism. The average Northerner doesn't know what an Ideal country should be like instead they have been dashed Islam and many of them think as long as they have Islam they are fine and content.

But the whole of Nigeria can't be free until the North is freed from the shackles holding her down. And until the Northern people are completely mentally free from the perpetual slavery her elites have placed them in, we in the south can continue to scream in futility but Nigeria won't progress. Talk to a counsellor. It could be your religious head. You can't solve the problem by your own

More like "the whole of Nigeria" can't be left to rot educationally like this. This may be more prevalent in the north...but it is understandable given their view on "western education".

Truth is that there are schools that look like this or even worse, in the South that claims to put so much premium on education.

Let us not kid ourselves; The poor state of education is a national emergency and not restricted to any region or state.

Those pictures are either not from Borno or made long ago. As a matter of fact class room in Borno are far better than those. Classrooms are now built with the best materials and even equipped with solar energy for lighting

the borno state governor to me is the richest governor in nigeria via boko haram security money, imagine how a school looks like, donations will come in again and it will enter inside some people's pocket.

if apc should lose the next election, several of them will be candidiates of prison

If you're wondering why restructuring hasn't taken root in the minds of some Nigerians, look no further.
If restructuring sees the light of the day, if the country is divided into regional governments and this type of federalism we practice is done away with, the citizens of northern extraction will hold their leaders to ransom in the twinkle of an eye.
They'll surely realise the damage that has been wrecked on them by the elites subjugating them with fanaticism and religion.
The elites wil no longer be safe. You'll be forced to either adapt to sweeping changes or be left in the dark ages to bear the consequences of your actions or inactions ALONE.

Restructuring cannot come under the dispensation of a northerner who actively/passively benefits from the present contraption called Nigeria. Impossible.
The devil can only offer a Greek gift at very deleterious sacrifice.

THEIR EVIL GOVERNORS AND ELITES DON'T WANT THEM TO SEE THE LIGHT SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO USE THEM TO RIG ELECTION AND CAUSE TROUBLES WHEN THEY LOSE ELECTIONS. THEY SHOULD ALL BE MERGED WITH NIGER REPUBLIC. THEY WILL DO BETTER THERE
