The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment, Mr Babatunde Durosinmi Etti leading visitors on a tour of Epe landfill, the first engineered landfill in West Africa being built by Visionscape.

visionscape isn't doing the needful in removing refuse from the people's houses. that's very bad.

The fools in this government have not even thought of solving the fundamental issue:how will refuse from homes be evacuated given that those trucks cannot enter the thousands of small,unmotorable streets in Lagos.
This is asides fact that in growing towns like Ikorodu,Ibeju Lekki,Badagry,Ajah,there is even no provision of the bins itself.
Thirdly,how often can the trucks evacuate the bins given the poor road networks,traffic and the fact that the bins get filled almost on an hourly basis by refuse.
