The Peoples Democratic Party Women wing in Ika South LGA, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, describing his achievements since assumption of office, as exceptional and second to none in the history of the state.

They stated this during an enlarged meeting of female ward leaders, former women leaders and all female elected office holders and appointees in Ika South, held at the PDP Secretariat, Agbor.

Speaking in separate interviews with journalists the Woman Leader of the party, Mrs Irubor B and the Special Adviser to the governor on Women Mobilization, Ezinne Cecilia Ogbonyeri lauded the Okowa administration for bringing palpable social and infrastructural development to the LGA and promised to mobilize massively to ensure the governor is returned come 2019.
