You didn't understand what he meant, he was to travel to Tanzania in Africa and the only direct flight is provided by a third world country, so, he went through the stress of rerouting through Holland via American delta airline and finally to Tanzania via Dutch KLM airline. Both are airlines are owned by first world countries instead of taking a rwandaair or Kenya airways or Ethiopian airline directly to Tanzania and even save time. He is shading our indigenous African airlines.
