The speaker of the Akwa Ibom house of assembly, Mr. Onofiok Luke became emotional and broke down in tears after what a man did for a poor family in the state. The illustrious son of Nsit Ubium, Mr Clement Jonah tasked himself to build a two bedroom flat and donated it, as a gift to celebrate Mr Speaker's 40th birthday.

Mr Speaker Onofiok Luke who was astonished and emotional when he got to the scene said, "this makes my birthday complete. I have received gifts on my birthday but this makes it complete. may God bless you for this initiative, this unconditional love and kindness. Doing this without seeking any political position, any contract is simply amazing."

Mr Speaker prayed for Mr Clement Jonah, the one who singlehandedly funded the project and also went on to pray for the occupants, bestowed them with grace and asked God to bless them the way He has blessed him.

This took place today at Ikot Ekpene Udo, Ibiakpan Obotim ward 2 in Nsit Ubium area of Akwa Ibom state.

It has been long since I have heard that civil servants encourage politicians to steal that is a discussion for another day.Civil servants would steal because our system encourage such we have strong individuals and weak institutions in this part of the word that is why our anti graft agencies can be used any how to suit the taste of who is in power.
