That's because it affected South West States the most. If it were the South East and the North, we'll be on page 6 by now.
Afonjas have no problem condemning others, but when it comes to their own, they suddenly go dumb.

Yet little or nothing to show for all these debts that ten generations may not finish paying. Most of our rulers dont fear God; reason while Ambode is looking for money anyhow. Where are all the IGR going to?

Thats the point. This is wickedness and at the end of the day, they spend the money on luxuries and overbloated project, running an expensive government, then punishing the citizens through excessive tax systems especially thia present government. Cost didnt reduce in their time but keeps booming exponentially.

A country like the UK understand that its not about new structures but sustaining and making old systems to work. They dont just build anyhow to make an impression but makes sure whatever is on ground works effectively and expediently. In Lagos here, they just keep biulding and building all in the bid to show something for being a spendthrift whereas all what is being built has no proper sustainable plan and oreintation to all stakeholders on how to benefit.

A good example is the waste management. The billions spent in rebranding andchanging the whole system could be saved and enaure the systems work. What we havr now is a mess

From the report grin
only states whose debt did not exceed the 50 per cent ratio by more than 100 per cent are Anambra, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe and the Federal Capital Territory.

And some idi.o.ts will be comparing their useless leaders and states with Anambra, Anambra is most sustainable and with responsible leaders in south region, this is a state with lowest debt and during recession didn't ask for bailout, some states that claimed to be generating highest IGR asked for bailout twice to be able to pay workers salaries grin grin we grow our GDP by one trillion naira in the middle of recession and increased our Internally generated revenue while most taxes remain suspended in other to encourage our people, Anambra state governor pay all workers and pensioners before 25th of every month, increased workers’ salaries in the midst of recession, successfully completed 55 roads with a cumulative length of 422.050KM. three flyovers also awarded 12 new bridges and completed 5 of them without borrowing, also performed well in other sectors, still maintaining lowest debt profile among states in Nigeria. To me Obiano is best governor in Nigeria.
obaino was not responsible for that, anambra should thank Peter Obi

Only God knows what a State like Osun is doing with all the money she borrowed..inspite of the useless IGR she purpotedly generates, which is touted by on-line urchins to be bigger than the entire SE put together
You know when you have a prodigal, glutton, callous, irresponsible,i too sabi, bastard as the head of a house that he is not a family of,what else do u expect other than this, yet he couldn't even pay salary as at when due...Aregbesola and his cohorts has plunged the state into the debt river and the mumu in the house of assembly can't make him account for unnecessary instead they made him a life member of the parliament, and some fools will still b shouting 'baba kabiru'...I am worried for the next administration

Lagos and Cross River I understand. But Osun State ?!. What a ridiculous picture. That state is finished. They will die inside gbese.
Best thing is for Osun to change their name again so that the creditors will not know who to ask for money.

some SW states are indebted because of parasites who are living and working in our region.

Most igbos in SW are enjoying infrastructure and various govt programmes but they are not paying tax.

Because of this, more money will be needed to sustain the states/ the region.

Another reason SW states are indebted is because FG is owing them.

The money FG is owing OGUN state alone is enough to cover/
pay back the debt s of all SW states.

Gloat all you like concerning this useless article, that will not stop you from abandoning your backward region for yorubaland tommorow because
SW is the fastest developing region in Nigeria. [/quote

Nothing but the truth! At the end of the day many of the projects will be abandonded uncompleted.

Its not about completed or uncompleted even, ofcourse they will complete it because thats the only to safekeep whatever figure they figure they overbloat with afterall the structure is there as evidence of what they spent.

However, when you keep biulding and building and people dont even have the slightest idea on how to maximise that which you give them, whats the point?

Again, i use UK as example, when a structure like school is built, you will be amazed how detailed and well utilized the structure is used. The environment is such that its conducove and encourage learning. The teachers are motivated as well as learners taking pride in their learning environment and they try to preserve that school because it has become part of their heritage but in nigeria, virtually the opposite is the case. Here, everyone is thinking how they can benefit from providing a school. How much can they gain in terms of monies in providing a structure. How they can put their cronies into the structure to protect their interest and reduce their financia burden nd depedence on them, then the cronies also begin to think of how they milk the system to their own advantage because na their person dey at the top, worrying less about providing quality education and providing the motivation to come and learn. Then learners also in turn reacting to the nonchalant attitude to learning will not take education serious and end up mostly as public miscreants and nuisance and the cycle continues. The school gradually degrades to nuisance and tax payers monies wasted. And thats just a tip of the iceberg.

At the end of the day, your village is still the poorest, most backward and prehistoric village in Nigeria

Your village is in debt like the other named states

The same other states are still ahead of your villages across the board

When your anambra village abi village governor is not commissioning, borehole, he's commissioning keke ambulance in this 21st century/2018

Abeg cover your head in shame.

How can you see them here Debt is their second name, you wonder why Nigeria debt profile skyrocketed under three years of this administration, because they are in charge of finance, same woman under her watch when she was commissioner of finance in Ogun, borrowed beyond redemption, is the finance minister, see how Nigeria economy is, imagine if it was NOI is the minister of finance and we are facing this financial turmoil, dey for don dey protest every day for West, rubbishing NOI's name, but here we are with their incompetent lady messing up the economy, they will rather die in penury than to accept failure or condemn their own.
