The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, on Tuesday, Lagos Police Commissioner parades suspected kidnappers, prostitutes, among other criminals who were recently arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police Command.

Here are photos of the suspects paraded and the weapons allegedly recovered from them during separate arrests.

Parading suspects, wot if the court proves them innocent, how can such humiliation be wiped away? I dnt understand how a mutual agreement to exchange money for sex is a crime. 2 adults can't decide on wot de want to do with their body and money again? With the suffering in the land, who's going to provide for these gals and their family? And now, u parade dem along with armed robbers and kidnappers, pple who genuinely pose a threat to society. Meanwhile, there are some men dat are commercial sex workers too bt are met by the blind side. My heart bleeds, dis is completely wrong treatment dished out to the girls. Where are those loud feminists, isn't this an appropriate time to speak up?

Is prostitution a criminal offence?

Those guys arrested were not criminals, most of them were arrested on the roads while some other were arrested at the bar or ashawo house where they are drinking and watching ball.



Don't trust the police they are the real criminals here.

These prostitutes are either loners working on their own, inexperienced or they don't know their ways with the police. Even if these kidnappers dem no be infant kidnappers dem no suppose catch them.

Nigerian police no responsible reach that level. ∆
