Fellow Nigerians (to borrow a leaf from one of Nigeria's finest writers, Dr Dele Momodu), have we noticed that our esteemed secret service, the DSS, has metamorphosed into a negotiating agency.
Isn't it laughable that what is supposed to be a premier local intelligence gathering agency has now become a tool for bokoharam to amass millions of pounds? I never cease to shudder whenever they come with pride that they were "SUCCESSFUL" in their negotiation with that slimy, smelly terrorist group. [img]http://beegeagle.files./2011/10/sss1.jpg[/img]
As much as we all wanted those innocent girls to come back home, don't you think this is a bad omen for our local and international security and image?

It seem to me like bokoharam have now been made to know where they can easily hold us to ransom or by the jugular and we cough out millions for them (though we heard this one didn't require any payment of ransom).

I have a soft spot for those girls who were abducted, but I fear for the long term consequences of this sort of negotiation that has become a norm. Bokoharam are psychologically wounding the psyche of our security forces.
