Please help. my unlocked mtn e156g does not work with glo line and i have already subscribed to their always macro which is a 1 gb data plan for 30 days. I did not know about this problem till now what do I do? |

Hello People, I recently moved to a remote area where I couldnt get a 3G signal for my internet modem, I unlocked my mtn fastlink hoping I could use other networks but i keep getting the edge signal which is terribly slow, can anyone tell me what to do to get 3g or better still a fast network signal. |

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 3G depends on the area you reside and the kind of network you use. Which area do you reside and what network do you use? is your unlocked Modem not working with other sims? |

I stay in agbara along lagos badagry exp way, i have unlocked my mtn fastlink, and tried all other sims, still thesame edge and the edge is very slow i also bought visafone and starcomms, same thing |

I think etisalat 3G is based in Lagos.Search for 3G in all the networks,there should be at least one. Is Agbara a village? |

nope its along the expressway.someone suggested i put up an antenna above my roof that i may be able to pick up a 3g signal, dont know how true that is |

Dgunnerz: No, I haven't tried other network. But the thing is that I get the Glo 3G plus Signal but It refuse to connect. And I never sent ACTIVATE to 127 before subscribing plus the sim is not registered yet. Could this pose a problem. I also put the sim in a Glo modem but it refuse to work and I get 613 error stuff as when I put it in the mtn sim but it works when I place the sim in my phone, using the data plan which I subscribed to. Though, I tried to subscribe the all day plan and i get a reply stating that the plan I am subscribing to is in compatible with my current plan--ALWAYS MACRO. Please help because I don't want my 3k to go like that. Thank you for your time. |
