Ambode should also make a public statement apologizing to lagosians for this mandatory walking!

He did by forewarning Lagosians before Buhari arrived.

Nothing funny about the first tweet, i see no reason why a reputable organisation will think of posting such joke in the first place. Even made it worse by adding 'how is the walkofchange going' .

Exactly, it is nothing but sheer mischief on the part of a reputable organisation like Firstbank. The statement "WorkofChange" made it look unprofessional of them.

Dear Twitter Family. A tweet from us earlier in the day was totally inappropriate. As a responsible organization, we do not support or share humor taken too far. And that is what this was; humor taken too far. We take it back and apologize unreservedly.

My best frnd works at the airport and sometimes she works overnight because of some of her clients who depart and arrive late. She told me buhari arrived at 3.am thursday morning, the city was asleep then. So shutting down the state was just unnecessary initial gra gra. I hail una!

I'm very sure that the almighty "presidency" has threatened them because of the fact they stated in their humorous "Lagos trek" post.

Talk of tyranny in a democratic government being justified with a particular world "hate speech"

This country is doomed!!! sad
Is the pope still searching for where HELL is,he should look no further.

Their social media manager needs some coaching from that guy who handled the EFCC twitter page.

Humor gone wrong..
And u think it is outrightly right for a single person to hold million people into ransom. U need to be here in Lagos and see how people trek miles to get to their destination. This is a tyranny.

Nothing wrong about the tweet.

Dear First bank, no need to sound politically correct, your tweet reflected the mood of the day among Nigerains, especially Lagosians.
I am sure the management of first bank, being more intelligent than you, know better than to not apologise.

They should have done the right thing by not hindering the source of livelihood of the masses. A good government will do all things that will make his citizenry happy.

Wow. The unprofessionalism in the first post is baffling. Regardless of your political leanings, that Twitter handler needs to get a sanction atleast. It's a bank, not a political party.

The person behind that handle is insensitive: you should be careful with your choice of words when you occupy certain positions or work for certain institutions. You don't 'misyearn'.

Go and sin no more!

I bet the person who tweeted that faux pas is igbo. They never know what is appropriate or when the joke is taken too far.

A corporate body has no business tweeting such things especially First Bank.

Don't agree?, argue with your ancestors.
