AS FOR THE POST-UME (AS PER PREVIOUS YEAR), IT WAS ENGLISH AND GENERAL STUDIES (CURRENT AFFAIRS, LITTLE MATHEMATICS). IT IS COMPUTER BASED.

AS FOR IJMB, UNILORIN ADMITS AS LOW AS 5 POINTS, BUT NOT INTO ALL COURSES. YOU NEED 13 POINTS FOR MEDICINE, AT LEAST 10 POINTS FOR LAW, INFORMATION AND COMPUTER SCIENCES COURSES, ENGINEERING COURSES, OTHER SCIENCE COURSES LIKE BIOCHEMISTRY, MICROBIOLOGY,ETC; 5 POINTS FOR SOME COURSES LIKE MATHEMATICS, ZOOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, OTHER EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCE COURSES.
YOU NEED TO MAKE ENQUIRY BEFORE YOU CHOOSE COURSES BASED ON YOUR IJMB POINT OR OTHER A LEVEL RESULT.

WELL, TO EVERYONE WHO CHOOSE UNILORIN AND SCORED 200 OR 240(MEDICINE) STANDS A GOOD CHANCE OF BEIGN ADMITTED EXCEPT PEOPLE WHO ARE MISS-INFORMED AND CHOOSE THE WRONG COURSE PARTICULARLY THE DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS. THE GUY THAT DID MATH/COMP may not STAND A GOOD CHANCE COS YOU DID NCE AND WILL ONLY BE ADMITTED FOR A COURSE IN EDUCATION. UNILORIN DOES NOT VE COMPUTER EDUCATION BUT THEY VE MATHS EDUCATION.

As for those asking for information about the post-jamb, no information about that yet. You can always update yourself on unilorin's website: www.unilorin.edu.ng

For those above 200 in your jamb, i say congratulations because it's likely the cut-off is 200 this year (just as before) and 240 for medicine.
For as many with disappointments on admission in previous year, please make sure you write your post-jamb exam well (if there will be). If you pass the cut-off and you can be open about it, you can let me know if i can help you out (although not promising admission). I'll try to get your details to some people who can can help you with the admission and there's nothing attached to it (it's free). All you need is to have the necessary details as prescribed by the university, after giving me, you continue to pray to God for His favour.

Are you aware that the West Africa University Games (WAUG) is held every four years, and its Championship are held within that period.Do You also know that the last WAUG took place in University of Legon, Ghana in 2008. Yes. Next Come 2011, the Nigeria No 1 University in Excellence - University of Ilorin, will host the 13th Edition of this important international event.

You can also give your points and your course of study, if i can give any advice about that or give me a call.

But your results must be ready before the date given by the university, because unilorin stopped collecting results not ready before admission. But don't know about that this year, if they will admit students' awaiting their result.

I have my result already, I have 10points, I chose Accounting first choice & Economics 2nd choice, unilorin for my 1st and 2nd choice.

@ mike 234,yes u ave a slight chance of gainn admisn in unilorin. Considrn these facts (1)4rm ur name I dnt tink u are an Indigene (2)ur score is very low considrn competition but al dis kan only count wen ur o level result is somehw incomplete n u not avn sb or God 2 connect u. No matter wat if u ave d connection forget ur scores, GUD 2 KNW WE ARE GOIN 4 D SAME COURSE

W@ am tryn 2 say is d@ u just ave 2 get d connection whether divine,human or be it spiritual,there is a fnd of mine he had a very gud result in al his exams but chose Unilorin as 2nd second choice 4rm Delta but was denied admisn because he got no connection but last year he got connected n nw is in Unilorin studyn Accountn. So despite ur gud result u can stil be dropped but d@ is not our portion in Jesus name, AMEN
