A Lagos-based lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has replied former president Obasanjo over his recent comments on President Muhammadu Buhari - Obasanjo had on Monday, April 2, cautioned Nigerians against APC's new reform ahead of 2019 election - But the human rights lawyer said that Obasanjo used to blame the rot the military left behind as the reason for his abysmal performance while in office A Lagos-based lawyer and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo, has replied former president Olusegun Obasanjo over his recent comments on President Muhammadu Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC). He also said they should not be swayed by the All Progressives Congress’s new reform. The former president asked the ruling party to stop giving excuses to Nigerians.

He said: “Stop giving excuses; we met challenges. If there were no challenges, then we wouldn’t need you to come. You came in because you know there were challenges… stop giving us excuse that you have many challenges, that is why you haven’t achieved results,” he said. “I have publicly said and I mean it, that as a party, neither PDP nor APC can get us there as they have been. Never mind about reforms and apology and all that.” But Keyamo said that the former president used to blame the rot the military left behind as the reason for his abysmal performance and begged Nigerians to be patient with him. He said that Obasanjo reportedly knelt down for Atiku then to get his second term ticket. He said: "Let’s remember that during d first 4 years of Obasanjo (1999-2003) he kept blaming d ‘rot’ the military left behind as d reason for his abysmal performance & begged Nigerians to be patient with him. To d extent that he reportedly knelt down 4 Atiku then to get his 2nd-term ticket.

Let's even look at the corruption fight Buhari was chiefly voted for and how it has been a sham,full of lies and deception.
In August 2008,barely a year into the tenure of Musa YarAdua,a president that didn't regale us with fighting corruption,Bode George,then one of the most powerful SWest PDP chieftains,and a national Vice Chairman of same party as YarAdua,was convicted of corruption and jailed by the court!
Meanwhile 3years into office,Buhari's government has not got a single conviction of any high profile case,and not a single APC member is ever going to be convicted,aside many cases of defected members either being abandoned or covered with dust!!
The man's several failures are just too amazing that I look at people that still want him for another term as needing psychiatric evaluation.

Gentleman you forgot to name any tangible thing Buhari has done that can be compared to the launch of Nigersat1 Nigeria's first space satellite, even Jonathan launched Nigersat3.

The fact still remains your president has not and cannot hope to achieve anything in his life. When he was a military ruler which project did he initiate? Now he is a civilian president he has failed woefully once again.

You forgot EFCC, ICPC, came under this man. You've forgotten FERMA, NAPEP, Privatisation, FDI growth. even the railway

Above all less nepotism, all regions can boast of one vibrant person.
