Nigerian table-tennis sensation and legend, Segun Toriola won his quarter-final table-tennis match against Chris Yan of Australia at the ongoing Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018.
Segun won 3 sets to 1. He totally outclassed Chris. The Australian was having a hard time returning Segun's service throughout the match.
Segun is one of Nigeria's medal hopefuls at the tournament.
The Chinese-born Australian international is just one of the many naturalized Chinese representing Australia due to their prowess in ping-pong.

The young lad from Samoa won Silver...almost won the Gold though but was ruled off as no lift in his 2nd attempt at 188Kg
The Lad from Malaysia came 3rd and won the bronze
The Cameroonian did well but ended up 4th.

I watched the game. Segun Toriola is just a maestro. :DThe Australians want use ojoro Sha. Two Chinese on their team, everyone knows Chinese are professionals at table tennis!

Table tennis, so far is our only shot at a medal. Basketball team lost two matches already, in Boxing One Ojo guy lost to a ghanian Addo. The south Africans are doing well in the competition thanks to white south Africans .

When we keep concentrating on only football (Super eagles) and diverting all the resources to them the other sports are just lacking.

It wasnt Toriola but the team.

Biodun won his match 3-2 against Hu of Australia

Olajide Omotayo lost his match 3-1 against Xin Yan

Then Omotayo and Toriola combined to beat Powell/HU in the double...

Toriola had to see off Yan 3-1 to see Nigeria through to the semis.

Saw the matches live. Very entertaining.

Congrats to him, he's making us proud.
