I had parents who loved and still love me but they were financially incapacitated. I hawked my way through the secondary school, I got used to flogging because I must come late to school as I would first hawk pap and bean cake before going to school. In the university I sustained myself by teaching at preparatory centers, I graduated with 4.43 CGPA against a 5 point scale. I applied and completed a pgde programme at Nat Opn Uni. I proceeded to the University of Ibadan for an MA programme in African literature which I completed in 2014. But for a few challenges, I would have been on my way to completing my doctoral studies. I have not arrived yet, but I have crossed borders. I currently teach in an international Sch here in Ibadan.
