vely cheap

Rheumatic fever is an
inflammatory disease that can involve the heart, joints, skin, and brain. The disease typically develops two to four weeks after a streptococcal throat infection. Signs and symptoms include fever , multiple painful joints,
involuntary muscle movements , and occasionally a characteristic non-itchy rash known as erythema

And herein lies the beginning of your failure. That question alone will take not less than 3 pages. Someone mentioned earlier about the technicality involved. Your answer alone cannot be repeated by any medical student anywhere cos it's largely disjointed

This lecturer, Sha wanted to prove he has seen the Black Panther.

Just because one of the consultant medical doctors, who doubles as a lecturer, and one of the examiners in the ongoing Final Professional (Part III) MBBS Examination for final year medical students, in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, wanted to prove to his students that he has seen the Black Panther movie, he was just writing Wakanda, Wakanda "upandan"!

Imagine 5 Wakandas in a single question!

In a way, he must have helped the students relieved some tension during the exam. I think it's cool.

I can answer all these questions without studying so hard. These questions are not really tough.

Some people are seeing the black panther star but I am just trying to figure out the answers. Jones criteria for diagnosis of rheumatic fever is presence of 2 major criteria or 1 major plus 2 minor criteria or 5 minor criteria. The diagnosis to the second question is diabetic ketoacidosis.

1.Wakanda is suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis (The RPG is 450, and the deep sighing breahting).

2.Intravenous normal saline, liberally, plus insulin on an hourly basis. Then lotsa antibiotics, and treat for malaria. Investigations include full sepsis workup, and also look at the kidneys, liver etc...end organ damage.

3.Retinopathy, diabetic foot, kidney damage, nerve pain/loss, poor wound healing.

If you're not a clinical medical student, or a medical doctor, you cannot answer this seemingly simple question satisfactorily. You don't know the technicality.
It's like saying you can manage Mr Wakanda's ailment.
Do you even know the diagnosis?
Leave Martha for Matthias, ok?
anyone who has been to university will understand a cheap straightforward examination question when he sees one.

Questions are too fücking direct! Stop being so insecure here.

anyone who has been to a university will understand a cheap straightforward examination question when he sees one. We don't have to be medical students/ doctors to know it's not technical from the medical POV.

Once you're asked to define any term in any field you have studied, it's no longer all that technical. Define Rheumatic fever? Damn!

Questions are too fücking direct! Stop being too insecure here.

You ain't a medical student so you can't say it straight forward. Only medical students can talk about it so don't compare.

[quote author=Paruz1015 post=66808383]Mr wakanda diagnosis is hyperglycemia. Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus type 2

Actually, Hyperglycaemia in this case is not a diagnosis.. it is a feature of laboratory investigation of the presentation.. Diabetic keto acidosis secondary to poorly controlled diabetes..but remember the patient presented on emergency, making it seem like Hyperosmolar hyperglycaemic state or coma...

to everyone saying the question is simple,i laugh..
to manage that condition and get 12/20, you must be very tight..
3pages of writing may still be deficit..
