The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council Hon.Chief Jite Brown(JP) marks 100 days in office today 18/04/18.

Some of the achievements of the Udu Council Chairman includes:

1. Settling of the leadership crisis in Owhrode, Otor-Udu and Erhiephihor communities in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. Peace has returned to these aforementioned communities as Hon. Chief Jite has also sworn-in new Executive in aforementioned communities via democratic processes . The Executive Chairman who discovered that tenure elongation was the major reason for the crisis witnessed in these communities as against their constitution provisions has warned that henceforth there will be no tenure elongation.

2. Visitation to all the 15 Health Centres in Udu Council. Few days after assumption of office, the Executive Chairman of Udu, his Vice Hon. Justice Iyasere and the Udu legislative arm visited all the health care centres in Udu in order to ascertain their problems. During the visit, the Executive Chairman paid the hospital bill of a baby boy at Orhowhorhun health care center, he further directed the HOD of health to work assiduously so as to find possible solution to some of problem discovered during the visit.

3. Sacking of traders trading on the Express junction walk ways. The Executive Chairman of Udu Local having seen the hazards caused by traders selling on the walk ways at Express collaborated with security agents in sacking the traders.

4. Monthly Environmental Sanitation: The Executive Chairman knowingly fully well that cleanliness is next to godliness has resolve to making Udu Local Government one of cleanest via the instrumentallty of the monthly environmental sanitation.

5. Prompt payment of Udu Local Government Council workers salaries since he assumed office

6. He facilitated the first ever Public Primary School football competition in all public primary schools in Udu.

7.Sets record as 1st Council Chairman in Delta State to flag off the 2018 measles vaccination campaign in Udu. During the vaccination campaign at Otor-Udu, he gave branded Educational materials to all parents.

8.The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council partnered with the wife of Executive Governor of Delta State in setting up a sickle cell anaemia center in Udu.

9. The clearing of refuse dump in Aladja.

10. He facilitated the statue of the unknown soldier at Otor-Udu headquarters of Udu Local Government and it was commissioned and used during the 2018 armed forces remembrance day.

The above among others are the achievements of the Executive Chairman Udu in a period of 100 days in office as at today 18/04/18. Hon. Chief Jite Brown(JP) is determine to changing the narrative of Udu via the SMART Agenda of the Executive Governor of Delta State Dr Ifeanyi Okowa inspite of paucity of funds.
