Ovamboland: This zombiehari disciple stop deceiving yourself. Historical journals established the fact that schools in the Eastern region were filled with school children before and after Awo played his politics of free Universal Primary education. articlesng.com/free-education-politics-free-education-nigeria/ Almost all the great Igbos we know today who lived in that period had their primary education in the East. So who ran to where for free education. Morever, Awo in his autobiography book (published in the 40s/50s even before ) documented his disdain and jealousy for the ever progressive Igbos even before grabbing power (go read that book) so he marginalized the Igbo of the midwestern region and it was the reason the midwest protested and left the western region. Even the Bini who closer to the yorubas by culture suffered the same fate in the hands of tribalistic and vindictive awolowo. Your revisionism is dead on arrival go sell it elsewhere. 2 Likes |
