We represent the concerned group of all YouWiN participants, from across the 36 states of Nigeria who are deeply troubled by the action of the Federal government towards funding our businesses. We feel disconsolate by the news that our businesses will not get funded after scaling through series of conscientious exercise of training, which saw 5000 of us emerge as winners among 200,000 that applied initially.

With complete humility, we are therefore writing to seek a meeting with you to discuss the essential need to engage this crop of youths with potentials. We congratulate the government on the progress made towards capacity building and other initiatives to empower the youths. Funding our businesses will have considerable influence on global and national development priorities, as each individual business holds the potential to create about 100 direct and indirect jobs. This will have a ripple effect on the unemployment rate and the general economy of the nation.

Having considered several actions to take, our decision to write you was spurred by your elevated position as the Leader of the ruling party and a Statesman in national affairs. We also took into cognizance your track record in solving the plight of the youth when called upon, as we sincerely wish you can once more grace us with your esteemed audience.
