A newly wedded wife was reportedly attacked by Fulani herdsmen in Benue state earlier today on her way to visit her in-laws.

According to the reports gathered, the lady was not their main target for the attack as she was travelling from Makurdi to Naka local government area Benue state, she was just a victim of circumstance.

The attacked was said to have being carried out by Fulani herdsmen who opened fire on the vehicle which reportedly took the life of one passenger and leaving other with serious injuries.

She was rushed to the hospital immediately for medical help to enable her continue her journey to her in-laws place.
