These men, although they are members of APC are supported by those who hate APC, Tinubu and more vigorously by those who hate Buhari.

Top on the list will have to be Senator Bukola Saraki for the simple reason that he was not the party's choice for the position of senate president. That means, if the tables were turned and Saraki was the party's choice, he obviously would not have adopted.

Next is the Speaker of the House of Representative, Dogara for the same reason as Saraki. He is treated as a half son of PDP mostly because he is less confrontational against President Buhari.

The rave of the moment has to be Dino Melaye, not so much for his fearless and activism, but mostly because he supports Saraki and has condemned President Buhari. Some supporters of PDP though still haven't forgotten his criticism of GEJ, so it is expected that his adoption will always be a half hearted one.

Aisha Buhari cannot really be described as an adopted daughter, but she has enjoyed some accolades by PDP supporters for criticising her husband PMB at various occasions.

For a country with selective memory, not many people will remember that at one stage, Yahaya Bello was once adopted by PDP all in an attempt to spite Tinubu who did not hide his support for Faleke to be the governor of Kogi State. They have since striped him of his adoption because of his support for Buhari.

Governor Ortom of Benue is another recent son to be adopted by PDP supporters. This is one of the only few adoption that was done because the recipient decided to fight nobly for his people.

One man who is also fearless and does not mix words when going against his party has been Senator Sheu Sanni. For this reason, he also holds an honorary position as one of the adopted sons of PDP.

Another adopted daughter but not popularly known is the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Jumai Alhassan for openly supporting Atiku despite being a minister under Buhari.

The major criteria required to be adopted as a son of the soil by PDP is to criticise APC and president Buhari, unfortunately, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili seem not to have enjoyed same courtesy despite hitting really hard against APC and president Buhari even with her RED CARD movement.
