@POLITICSNGR The Nigerian Senate is currently locked in a closed-door meeting over the refusal of the inspector-general of police, Idris Kptum Ibrahim to appear for the third time before the upper legislative chamber. The IGP was first invited a two weeks ago but failed to show up. He was re-summoned again to appear last week but he declined. For the last time, the Senate invited him to appear today. He did not show up.
