AGAIN, SUCCESSFUL EKITI STATE PDP GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARIES, AFFIRMS SOLIDITY OF THE REFORMED PDP - IHEDIOHA

Former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has described the successful conduct of the Ekiti State Governorship Primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as seamless, and yet affirms the solidity and readiness of the reformed party, to liberate Nigerians from the failed APC government come 2019.

"I congratulate Prof. Kolapo Olusola, Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, on his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP for the July, 14 2018 governorship election and urge him to be magnanimous in victory“, noting that, "the peaceful, free, fair and transparent conduct of the exercise has become the hallmark of the rebranded PDP".

Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha commended Governor Ayodele Fayose, Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Electoral Committee led by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and expressed special gratitude to the runner-up, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, former National Publicity Secretary for his patriotism and rare spirit of sportsmanship in accepting the outcome of the election.

While charging the party to ensure genuine reconciliation ahead of the general elections, he advised the APC to wake up to the realities and demands of democracy and emulate the rich democratic credentials of the PDP to save our democracy and Nigerians from further ridicule.
