This is one of my disaffection for Yoruba land, how could you still be this gullible? It is religiously and economically wrong to indulge in that barbaric culture.
The highest number of Churches and Islamic Movements in Nigeria are arguably situated in Yoruba land, yet they are still staunch Idol worshipers.

You're so foolish!! Who did Oro worshippers killed? Did you know how many your stupid Muslim worshippers killed and still killing around the world? So which is barbaric? I Will rather be an Oro Worshipper than to be a Muslim. undecided undecided undecided

See ode...Mumu will always find a way to justify his mumuism.

Ok so ask yourself , is Ilorin in anyway better than Ikorodu or other Yoruba towns that practices Yoruba culture 100%?
Maybe when Ilorin gets to Boko Haram level of "Islamic culture" you will be most pleased by then.
has it ever been bh headquarter?. Did BH ever existed in ilorin?.. In other parts of SW, don't you have bunch of BH there daily?. I meant cultists who called themselves all sorts of names like Eiye, etc so they have to be called BH before you realized they are killing people?. Yeyeman

I am not from Ikorodu but culture is culture. To restrict night movement for one day a year is not too much. People know in advance. Governments at times impose curfew for weeks for flimsy excuses.
African culture is under attack from Africans aping oyinbo. Whereas oyinbo do not even take you seriously. Value and be proud of your culture, promote it the world will value it too.

Even when people of the opposite sex are included? Even when emergencies are bound to occur? In a 24-hour city? And it involves killing of people?

They should probably stop this archaic belief

they go to thank their gods for sparing their lives. You know the Yoruba is a patriarchal culture. Were male are seen above over ladies that’s why they don’t allow them
it is not so. The intricate workings of Oro is such that only men can handle it, so only men are initiated

And since generally non initiates are not allowed to see Oro, women who cannot be initiated are not allowed
